Activated clay comes from calcium bentonite through inorganic acidification that increases molecular empty capacity, strengthens the electronegativity and improves the adsorption performance and thus has the characteristics of high activity and strong decolorization.
Activated clay is mainly used for:
1. vegetable oil refining: decolorization, removing harmful pigment, phospholipid, saponin, cottonseed acid, etc.
2.oil industry : oil, wax, wax oil, kerosene refining, decolorization and purification, petroleum cracking;
3. food industry: wine and juice clarifying agent, beer stabilization processing, saccharification processing, sugar juice purification.
4.chemical engineering: catalysts, fillers, desiccant, adsorbent, flocculant.
