Potassium aluminum fluoride is also konw as elpasolite(PAF ).
PAF is white or grey-white crystal powder.
PAF is used as welding flux in aluminum alloy and stainless steel, a degassing agent and fluxing agent in aluminum alloy industry, also used as an active filler for glass, ceramic and friction.
