Z1-torque is an innovative, attractive light weight e-bike (18kg with battery) with a number of features which set it aside from the competition. Ideally suited to road use. The 20” wheels, gears and control mechanism make it easy to navigate in and out of urban areas.
The specially designed battery box has the latest style Samsung 18650 Lithium Cells fitted and fit just forward of the seat post. Rated 36V x 6.6Ah, the battery should give an average rider 20 -25 miles of riding. The battery has a charging time of 4 hours and a USB power take off point for other accessories. The box itself slides sideways into the frame and locks into place.
The front and rear side lights that are incorporated into the frame illuminate as soon as the bike is turned on. In darker conditions, the rider can switch on the main beam and display back light.
The motor is a rear wheel drive 250 watt “Bafang” brushless motor driving direct on to the rear hub. The handlebar display offers the rider 3 different power options; With a torque sensor changing the ratios between the pressure on the pedals and the power delivered by the motor. This gives the rider the option of high speed and maximum power with little pressure on the pedals or background assistance to someone who wants to do get more exercise. There is a 4mph start button for hill starts
Experience has shown that electric bikes without gears are of limited use as either they are too slow or the rider does not have the power to climb steep hills. The Z1- torque has a special 3 speed derailleur with twin lever change on the handlebars to overcome this problem with simplicity. As soon as the pedals are pressed, the motor will give you assistance. The greater the pressure on the pedals the more power. This ensures the smoothest of riding experiences.
Delivery of the bike
If you choose to have the bike delivered to you, it comes in a convenient box. With a removable base there is no need to lift the bike. Supplied with a toolkit with all the tools you will need to fit the last few parts.
