n Approaches the natural color of glass.
n Highly transparent to visible light (wavelength 380 nm-780 nm), will not produce significant glare problems caused by high reflectance of visible light.
n Allows most sunlight in the visible range to enter without altering its natural color. Provides excellent natural illumination and saves energy by reducing the need for artificial lighting.
n Relatively high reflectance of infrared radiation (wavelength 780 nm-3000nm). In particular, reflects nearly all long-wave infrared (wavelength greater than 3000nm). Blocks the entrance of large amounts of heat, and leaves interior comfortably cool in summer and warm in winter.
Design And Construction Considerations
n Because Low-E metal coating is likely to cause adverse reactions when exposed to the atmosphere, so it must be sealed or processed into insulating glass in a very short time. Not recommend to use it in a single piece.
n The emissivity of Low-E glass is 0.02-0.15, and the generally emissivity of uncoated glass is 0.84.
n The design of the metal frame should be well drained to prevent the glass from deterioration and Fog due to the accumulation of water.
n Do not apply thermal insulation paper on the surface of Low-E insulating glass to avoid thermal split phenomenon.
n To identify the Low-E coating surface, in addition to our company will have a mark on the Low-E glass; check the Low-E glass, you can use a cigarette lighter to inspect the coating position, the flame reflected on the ordinary glass surface is yellow, and the flame reflected on the Low-E glass coating surface is pink or blue, which makes it easy to find out the position of the coating, to avoid erroneous installation and affect the insulation effect.
