1.    Wipe the thickness gauge surface with a clean cloth. Do not measure the thickness gauge with oil or metal scraps. Otherwise, the accuracy of the measurement results will be affected.

2.    Insert the thickness gauge into the gap to be tested, pull the thickness gauge back and forth, and feel a little resistance, indicating that the gap value is close to the value marked on the gauge; if the resistance is too large or too small when pulling, the gap value is less than or Greater than the value indicated on the gauge.

3.    When measuring and adjusting the gap, first select the thickness gauge that meets the gap specification and insert it into the gap to be tested. Then, while adjusting, pull the thickness gauge until the lock nut is tightened when the resistance is slightly felt. The value is the measured gap value

1.    It is not allowed to bend the thickness gauge sharply during the measurement process, or to insert the thickness gauge into the detected gap with a large force, otherwise the accuracy of the measuring surface of the feeler gauge or the surface of the part will be damaged.

2.    After use, wipe the thickness gauge clean and apply a thin layer of industrial vaseline, then fold the thickness gauge back into the frame to prevent corrosion, bending, deformation and damage.

3.    When storing, do not place the gauge under heavy objects to avoid damage to the thickness gauge.
