Vertical Single Stage Double Suction Boat Bilge/Ballast Pump For Sale

This type vertical centrifugal pump has been for convenience of shipboard outfitting and special consideration has been given to such points as minimizing the area of installation ,ease of overhaul and at the same time reduction of maintenance cost ,and smooth opration.

1. The pump rotating element is rigidly connected to the motor shaft through closed coupling and supported by the line bearing provided in the cover and the ball bearing of the motor.

2. The pump casing is integrally cast instead of conventional split construction .

3. Double volute design is adopted for the pump casing ,so radial thrust on the impeller becomes minimum .

4. Double suction design is adopted for the pump impeller. So axial thrust on the ippeller because minimus.

5. The shaft power curve have a highest ponit, so it is not to overload the motor power in any conditions.

6. The impeller is of double suction and in order to improve suction performance Francis vanes are adopted .

EMD type is vertical single-stage & double suction centrifugal pump,it is solid with closed coupling .     

The shaft sealing is mechnical or gland-packing.

 The air ejector is attached to the pump body as a device of ejecting air so that it enables the pump to have an ability of self-priming .
