Michem Chemicals Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose HPMC for Tile Adhesive
HPMC are ethers of cellulose and propylene oxide. It is easily soluble in cold water but not soluble in hot water. It is non-ioniccellulose ether and is compatible with many surfactants and polymers such as starch, guar and alginates. Solutions of HPMC are pseudoplastic,some solutions show thixotropy. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose polymers are well-known for their ability to bind, retain water, thicken, form films, and provide many other performance benefits.
