How to choose you own motor for the low-speed electric vehicle?

1.Leave a margin:The motor should be left with 20% margin to prevent the motor damage. By providing the following information, the motor manufacturer can assist in calculating parameters such as power,rotating number and motor torque. Includes:vehicle speed design, wheel radius, dead weight, total weight in loading, maximum climbing ability, etc.

2.Matching usage: Motor and reducer, motor and controller should be matched.Motor factory usually provides reducer parameters at the same time or combines with reducer.

3.Protection class:The motor must be waterproof and dust-proof, otherwise it will be damaged easily.Such as the low-grade electric automobile,it can’t be driven after running in raining or washing with water,which is mainly for the poor waterproof performance.The induction motor will have a higher waterproof class than others & the normal class can get more than IP54.

4.Working voltage: To ensure the safety, working voltage should be as high as possible to reduce working current and extend battery life.

 Packing Details

Normal packing is wooden box(Size: L*W*H). If to European countries,the wooden box will be fumigated. If container is too high,we will use PE film for packing or pack it according to customers special request.
