- Open your attic access then friction fit the attic access cover into place.
- Once in place, staple cover to the wood framing every 4-6 inches
- Continue former steps all tape is down and attic is sealed.Best results when air leaks are sealed.

Does it Installs easy and works?
Quality product and easy to install. Our thermostat to the hvac system is in hallway near attic door. Our system normally comes on and runs for 20+ min. Our hallway was always cold in winter and hot in the summer. Never paid much attention to the attic door and it’s cracks and seals. But recently I was working in the hallway and it was very cold outside. Our system came in and I could feel a constant cold draft of air. This brought our poorly sealed attic door to my attention. I began searching for products and made my decision to go with this one.
Installing the item was a easy 20 min job. It was like unfolding a cardboard box. I lined it up in place where I wanted it to be fastened. Staples it in place. Then I had some thin molding left over from interior windows so I used the stripes of molding to frame the edges to assist with making it more air tight. Seriously all of this took me 20 min. Only because my tools was strung out already in kitchen and rest of the house. Wife left the country for the holidays so I’ve been slow to clean up. Oh well anyway. Shortly later my system came on and for the first time in 3 years it was on and then off in less than 5 min. I was not able to locate a drafty at all. I love the dual zipper as it opens easily like a tent door.
