Description
Rail anchor
Rail anchor are spring steel clip that attach to the underside of the rail baseplate and bear against the sides of the sleepers to prevent longitudinal movement of the rail. And the reasons that lead to the longitudinal movement or creep are the vibration force caused while rails start or stop, the Wave motion of wheels and the Changes in temperature.
The rail anchor can help to avoid the creep or longitudinal movement, which is the main reason of the sleeper moving out of position and the gauge or Ballast been disturbed. Therefore it protect the whole track system and prolong working life of the railway fastening system.
