[Storage and expiry date]

This kit is stable for 9 months at 2-8ºC. Microplates are stable if kept in dark and dry hermetic bag at 2-8ºC till expiry date after unsealing. Liquid reagents require the same storage conditions but need to be sealed. Diluted reagent is only usable for one day.

[Equipment required]
To perform the assay, pipettes and tips for 10-20μl, 100-1000μl are required but not supplied. Good quality absorbance microplate readers with wavelength 450nm and incubators are needed.

[Specimen handling]

1. Fresh serum samples are recommended. Samples must not be bacteria contaminated or haemolysed or lipidic or icteric, or contain suspended material (fibrin).
2. Samples should not be kept at room temperature (18-25ºC) for more than 8 hours, should not be kept at 2-8ºC for more than 48 hours. For long term storage, serum samples can be frozen at -20℃. To avoid unreliable results caused by repeated freezing and thawing, serum sample should be aliquot in small vials without preservative.

[Assay Procedure]
Warm up all reagents and serum samples to room temperature (18-25℃) for 30 minutes before use. Repack all unused microplates in the original hermetic bag and store at 2-8℃.

Put kits in a foam box with icebags  in order to keep the temperature  at 2-8℃.

Put the foam box in a carton.
