An instrument for measuring the resistivity of rocks and ores in boreholes. When measuring the resistivity, a certain current should be supplied to the rock layer, and the potential difference caused by the current input at different positions of the rock layer should be measured, and then the apparent resistivity can be calculated. Therefore, resistivity logging tool generally consists of two parts: power supply and measurement record. Due to the influence of the actual measurement conditions, there are some differences between the measured results and the actual rock resistivity, so people call such measurement results as apparent resistivity.
