Polyurethane Star Wheels can also be known as de-stoning wheels, separator wheels and harvesting wheels. Our Star Wheels are available in a range of shore hardness and colours to suit your requirements.

As the name suggests they are similar in appearance to a star, and have a central body, with multiple 'fingers' extending out. They can be used in multiple industries, typically they are used as part of the screening process. The most common industries you find them are :mining and aggregate sorting, recycling, agriculture and forestry.

Typically polyurethane star wheels are used in the screening process, and can be used to sort pieces by size (as in mining and quarrying), or to remove waste such as when grading soil. For use in the harvesting process, they are used to separate the product (e.g. potatoes or other root vegetables) from dirt and stones, whilst limiting any damage to the produce.
