Q. Can the same hotel key card encoder program T5557 and M1 card at the same time?
A. No, it can't program both T5557 and M1 card at the same time.
T5557 and M1 card reader/encoder have the same appearance, but the chip inside is different.
Encoder for M1 need addtitonal $40
Q. What should I do if the hotel system card encoder dossn't work?
A. 1. Usually, we recomend clients buy two encoders for a project, one for backup.
2. If you don't have any spare encoder, please share with us the encoder device number, then you can pay for another one.Q. Can other suppliers' hotel door lock encoder be used to your cards?
A. No, it is not available.
Q. What's the difference between M1 card and Temic 5557 card?
A. Temic 5557 card: low-frequency (125kHZ), small storage space, short reading distance, mainly used for opening doors.
M1card: High-frequency (13.56MHZ ), bigger storage space, long reading distance, more sectors and multifunctional.Q. Will the USB encoder's registration code get expired?
A. Yes! There is a time limit for registration, we can make the registration code valid between 1-4095 days, after the registration code expires, please share with us the encoder device NO# (which is 8 digit on back of encoder), then we will update it for you.
