Auto-Open

Sensor bins send out invisible pulses of light (infrared) that hit nearby objects.  If anything gets close enough to bounce this light back, the sensor is triggered and the lid opens.  This makes for effortless waste-disposal for cooking, when avoiding contact is both hygienic and convenient.

Auto-Close

Just as important as opening automatically, our bins close automatically, too.  If the sensor isn't activated for six seconds, the lid will come back down, keeping obnoxious odours where they belong.

Long Battery Life

Long battery-life is important with a product like this, and sensor bins don't disappoint.  If you stick to good-quality batteries, you'll get months and even years of use between replacements. Of course, if you have playful children or curious pets, your mileage may vary!
