Habio Acid Beta-mannanase

• Fermentation  strain:Pichia pastoris
• Habio acid beta-mannanase:can specially decompose glycoside bonds in mannan, release oligosaccharides such as mannan oligosaccharides in order to eliminate the anti-nutritional factor, improve the digestibility, increase the feed energy and reduce the cultivation pollution.

Definition of enzyme activity

One unit of (U) of beta-mannanase is defined as the quantity of enzyme required to liberate 1μmol reducing sugar per minute from 3mg/mL mannan solution at 37℃, pH5.5.

Characteristics

1. Excellent thermostablility, suitable for feed pelleting.

2. Excellent acid-resistance, high efficiency in the digestive tract.

3. High activity from 30℃-80℃, the optimum temperature is 75℃.

5. High activity from pH2.5-7.5, the optimum is pH=2.5;  Higher activity in acid environment.

6. Water bath treatment: keep under different water bath temperature for 5 min. 

7. pH resistance: Keep under different pH for 90min.

8. Trypsin and Pepsin resistance:

Keep staying in Trypsin-Pepsin solution for 5.5 hours, the enzyme retention rate is 84.65%.

9. Good Storage stability: 

The enzyme retention rate is above 85% after 12 months storage in room temperature.

Effect of acid beta-mannanase

1. Reducing viscosity of chime, improving the nutrients digestibility and usage;
2. Cracking the cell wall, thus making the grain crude protein, fat, carbohydrates in the cells more easily to be absorbed;
3. Reducing the harmful bacteria breeding, improving the intestinal morphology, making the intestinal tract easier to absorb the nutrients;
4. More non-conventional raw materials could be used to lower feed costs while maintaining the production performance;
5. Reducing the output of nitrogen and phosphorus to protect the water, thus reducing the incidence of aquatic animals.
