Product Description
Tianshi micronized polyethylene waxes include straight and linear chain PE waxes and modified PE wax products. They are widely used to provide abrasion & scratch resistance, mar and rub resistance, slip, as well as gloss control and anti-blocking properties. PE waxes can be used in coatings & inks, paints, inks, powder coatings, wood lacquers, powder coatings and some other similar fields.

Characteristics and Purposes
Ø PEW-0853 is suitable for various water-based and solvent-based inks and coatings. It has high hardness, high melting point, and helps provide good gloss.
Ø PEW-0853 can be used for water-based inks and paints. It provides good anti-adhesion, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, dirt resistance, and other effects. At the same time, it provides smooth soft-touch, and better hydrophobicity.
Ø PEW-0853 provides coating with good hardness, excellent wear resistance. With wax emulsion, the performance is difficult to achieve. It has excellent dispersibility. At the same time, it helps obtain good gloss, and good transparency in solvent-based systems.
Ø PEW-0853 has good compatibility for fillers, pigments, and metallic pigments, and it is also resistant to precipitation.
Content and Method of Use
Ø In a variety of systems, the additional amount of the micronized wax is generally between 0.5 to 3%.
Ø Usually by way of a direct high-speed stirring, it dispersed in solvent-based coatings and printing inks.
Ø It can be added through the use of a variety of grinding machines, high-shear dispersing equipments.
Ø Pre-dispersion treatment. It is added into the system when needed, thus reducing the time of wax dispersion.
