Brief introduction

CFP Filter is a kind of precision clarifying filtration equipment featuring high efficiency, energy saving and closed-form operation. It is designed with unique structure, small size, high filtering efficiency and transparent filtrate, featuring no material loss, no consumption of filter paper, filter cloth or filter element, and only small consumption of filter aid. It is therefore characterized by low filtration cost as well as easy operation, maintenance and cleaning. It applies to solid-liquid separation or clarifying filtration in many fields such as seasoning, liquor, grease, chemical engineering, pharmacy and beverage.

CFP filter screen is totally made of stainless steel. The whole filtration process is carried out in a closed container. After filtration is completed, automatic discharge can be realized.

CFP filter is a dual-area filter, the filtration area from 2 to 200 m2 for users to choose from. Material for closed containers can be customized carbon steel or stainless steel as the filtration process requirements.





How Does It Work?



CFP Filter is composed of housing, filter screens
lifting device, auto discharing device, etc., in
which the screens are made of multilayer 
stainless steel wire mesh installed on the 
central liquid tube, easy disassembly and 
cleaning.  If it is as a liquid clarification or
decolorization filtration, in the filtration process, 
we need to use diatomite filter aid. We need to 
increase diatomite mixing tanks as a precoating


and the corresponding corresponding circulation pipeline and diaphragm-type metering pump, electrical system to measure and add diatomite.
Generally, CFP High-efficiency Seal Plate Filter needs to use two units in parallel, one works, the other is standby, which can achieve continuous airtight production, not only improve the product quality, but also improve the production work environment.



Filtering status
First, the pump is required to deliver  the liquid to be filtered into the filter and full filled. Under pressure, the solid particles in the filtrate will be trapped on the filter screens, and the filter cake is formed gradually. The filtrate outflow tube body through the filter tip. At last, you can get clear liquid.

Filter cakes forming status
With filtration time increases, so that the thickness of the filter cake ever thickening. The filter resistance is increasing, the tank pressure gradually increased to a certain value. Then you must be discharging.

Discharging status
Stop pumping the material into the tank and blowing compressed air through the tank overflow pipe. After the liquid is drained, blow the steam (or air) into the tank body to dry the filter cake. Closing the compressed air, opening butterfly valve, starting the vibrator to make the filter screens vibrate. Then the filter cakes on the screens are shaked off and drained through the discharge outlet on the bottom of the tank.

Notes:
Using CFP Filter as a liquid clarification filtration, to support and adsorb the diatomite and other filter aids by stainless steel mesh plate in a sealed filter tank casing. After mixing with the material in a mixing tank, it will form a stable cake layer on the filter screens by means of the conveying pump cycling, i.e. make diatomite precoating. Start filtering after precoating. Small filter aids particles can provide countless fine channels to intercept the suspended debris, only clear liquid passes. At the same time, we will add diatomite and other filter aids continuously to form a new filter layer, so that the filter cake will not be blocked. Then it will carry out a substantial filtration to remove the impurities, flowing into the inner cavity of the filter screens, and then flow out clean liquid through outlet pipe. In addition, if the filter requires decolorization, you need to add a certain percentage of activated carbon.

Automatic Cleaning Control System



CFP Filter is equipped with automated cleaning 
control system, integrated differential pressure
cleaning and timing cleaning parallel control
 function, which controls its efficient working, 
according to the operating conditions. If 
necessary, the system is able to realize real-
time and remote monitoring of DCS by custom.
Differential pressure cleaning is the most 
efficient cleaning mode, which reflects the  


accumulation of of filter cakes and the blocking of the filter element. When the preset pressure differential is reached, it starts the self-cleaning action. It is suggested that the cleaning pressure differential is 0.1MPa, which can be adjusted within the scope of 0.01-0.1MPa, by the working conditions. Periodically cleaning can be set 0-24 hours, and if the differential mode is inefficient, time pattern still works. It can be considered as the ultimate protection. The cleaning period setting should be close to the average period of the filter pressure differential cleaning mode.

The automated differential pressure controller has two kinds of forms, differential pressure switch and differential pressure transmitter. The transmitter can output the real time pressure differential value with higher sensitivity and reliability, to facilitate long-distance and real-time monitoring of the DCS.
