Soybean protein fiber belongs to the regenerative plant protein fiber, which is made by pressing soy soybean meal as raw material and wet spinning.
Soybean fiber is mainly composed of soybean protein, and the fiber itself is easily biodegraded. It is praised by experts as "the most environmentally friendly fiber in the 21st century."
Soybean fiber has the above-mentioned good physical and mechanical properties, hygroscopicity and dyeability; its pure or blended yarn has been used to make underwear, T-shirts, pajamas and woven fabrics such as plain, twill and satin.
