Micronized amide waxes can improve the fluidity, charging, breathability, efficiency, anti-blocking,anti-stiff and can get smooth surface, scratch resistance, matting effects when used in powder coatings. Their particle size are uniform and can achieve the same effects with less adding level.

Characteristics and Purposes

Ø         NEW-0402 can provide excellent degassing effect when used in porous surface of cast iron , and has outstanding abrasion resistance and smoothness.

Ø         In paint or ink application, it is best to make with a small amount of concentrated slurry spare paint. When used in water-based paint or ink system, you should make a small amount of thick slurry by using resin emulsion and surfactant under sufficient shear conditions. Before putting it into production, dilute it gradually with de-ionized water to the desired concentration.

Content and Methods of Use

Ø         In a variety of systems, the additional amount of the micronized wax is generally between 0.5 to 3%.

Ø         Can disperse in solvent-based coatings and printing inks by high speed stirring.

Ø         It can be added by using a variety of grinding machines, and high-shear dispersing device, must pay attention to the temperature control

Ø         Can make wax slurry first, and add into the systems when needed, by which can reduce the dispersion time.
