u  WHAT IS SASO CERTIFICATION?

All the products are exported kingdom of Saudi Arabia must conform to the requirements for eligibility assessment program for commerce ministry of Saudi Arabia and needs to apply for customs clearance in Saudi customs. 

All imported products need to provide the country of origin certificate issued by the authorized third party providers (SASO CoC certificate) the compulsory certificate shows that the product and/or manufacturing process should comply with the Saudi national standards which are issued by Saudi organization for standards, measurement and quality, this is necessary for doing the customs clearance in Saudi customs.
