●KF in the name of KF blank flange was adopted by ISO and DIN standards organizations. It means Quick Flange and is also called QF, NW, and occasionally, DN.
●KF blind flanges are a sexless design—made from SS304 or above grade stainless steel.
●KF plate flange is sealed by a rubber/elastomeric O ring mounted in a stainless steel KF centering ring, which aligns the flanges and holds the o-ring in position.
●Each KF blank flange has a chamfered back-surface and is mated by a circumferential KF clamp with wing-nut , thumbscrew, bolt, or over-center lever.
●Standards sizes of KF blind flange are: KF10, KF16, KF25, KF40, and KF50.
