Specification:

The products are divided into self adhesive type, non self adhered type and filling strip. Self adhesive type contains: alginate fiber, medical back linings, release paper, inside material and so on; non self adhesive type contains: alginate fiber (fabric made of non woven fabric), inside material and so on.

Self adhered type: core part 5cm*5cm,core part 10cm*10cm, core part 10cm *15cm, core part 10cm* 20cm, core part 15cm*15cm, core part 20cm x 20cm;

Non self adhered type: 5cm*5cm, 7.5cm*12cm, 10cm*10cm, 10cm*15cm,10cm*20cm,15cm*15cm,20cm*20cm,2.5cm*15cm,2.5cm*30cm,2.5cm*45cm;

Filling strip: 2g*30cm, 1g*15cm

Application:

This product is adapted to various acute and chronic wounds, superficial wound and deep wound; used to absorb the exudation fluid of the wound and local hemostasis, such as trauma, bruise, burn or scald, skin area of burn, all kinds of pressure sores, postoperative and stoma wounds, diabetic foot ulcers and venous artery ulcers of lower extremity. Combined with the treatment of wound debridement and granulation period, it can absorb exudation fluid and provide moist environment for wound healing. It can effectively prevent wound adhesion, reduce pain, promote wound healing, reduce scar formation and prevent wound infection.

Characteristics:

Alginate fiber is a kind of natural polysaccharide compound extracted from the cell wall and cytoplasm of brown algae. Alginate dressings have the characteristics of high hygroscopicity, good biocompatibility, easy removal, hemostasis, and wound healing.

1.High hygroscopicity: alginate dressing can absorb a lot of wound exudation, prolong the time of dressing change, reduce the change numbers and nursing times.

2.Good biocompatibility: alginate is a natural polysaccharide extracted from brown algae, and has good biocompatibility. The final degradation are carbon dioxide and water, which does not affect the normal cell physiology and proliferation.

3.Easily remove: The exudation liquid and alginate combining can form a soft hydrogel which does not adhesive with wound tissue. It has a great protective effect on the new granulation tissue, prevents second damage to the wound and greatly reduces the pain of the patients.

4.Hemostasis:Alginate absorbs exudation while releasing ions can enhance platelet activity,better blood clotting.

5.Promote wound healing: because of the above characteristics, the research shows alginate can provide moist environment for wound healing, enhance tissue cell activity, certainly antibacterial ability, reduce wound infection factors and improve the quality of wound healing environment.
