Organic Soap Nuts ground powder is produced from  Soapberry shells of Sapindus Mukorossi fruits. Reetha (Soapberry) powder is obtained through the grinding of manually de-seeded reetha shells. The nuts/berries are collected by trained local people who live near those areas.
Organic Soap Nuts/Soapberries  powdered ground is the purest form of natural laundry soap, detergent and cleaner as the best gift of the nature on this planet. The powder contains a natural cleaner called saponin (soap), which dissolves in water, forms suds and dissolves fats and oils to help lift grime.

Production methods 
Soapberry/ soapnut powder is manufactured through grinding. We use properly dried shells after deseeding. Powder is obtained nearly after 3 to 4 times grinding in the grinding machine. Being so gentle and non-toxic, soapberry powder is outstanding for fine, delicate fabrics and silks. It works just like normal detergent does, except without the harmful chemicals!!

How to use? 
This detergent will dissolve best in warm water. Approximately a teaspoon of our quality soap nut powder (added into the powder compartment or directly in with your laundry) will wash an average load. Liquid ensures optimal use of the saponin in the berries.

Medicinal value  
Sapindus mukorrosi ground/extract powder has been used in traditional remedies as an emetic, contraceptive, and for treatment of excessive salivation, epilepsy, mucolytic agent, and to treat chlorosis. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. Now, modern scientific medical research has investigated the use of soap nuts in treating migraines. The plant saponins have shown some spermicidal capacity for certain extracts. Sapindus saponins are less irritating than chemical alternatives. 

Laundry uses:
Soapnut powder is used to remove stains from hands, may soothe the eczema, psoriasis, itchy and sensitive skin as well. Soapberry powder can be used as a substitute to detergents and dish wash applications.  
Removal of Pesticide from fruits and vegetables:
Soapberry powder is used to remove the surface level pesticides in fruits and vegetables. It can easily remove the pesticides on tomatoes, aubergines, cabbage and grapes, which have a thin membrane and are prone to absorbing a large quantity of pesticides like Monocrotophos.  When these fruits and vegetables are soaked for 20 minutes in a solution of water and soapberry powder pesticides are easily washed out.
Removal of Pesticide from cotton:
Soapberry shells/powder/liquid is used to remove the surface level pesticides on cotton yarn. It removes nearly a 70% pesticides in the surface levels of Lindane.

Shipping

We manage or handle shipment as per the mode of shipping of your choice.  Generally, we do initial shipment handling up to the first port. Kolkata (53353) in India is the nearest sea port from Kathmandu.

Mostly the shipping route begins from Kathmandu – Kolkata – Singapore or/and Colombo – the final destination via ocean freight.
