Introduction: 

What is bentonite clay?

Bentonite is a kind of clay rock, also known as montmorillonite clay rock. Its main chemical components are silica, aluminum oxide and water. It also contains iron, magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium and other elements.

Bentonite (montmorillonite) is widely used in agriculture, light industry, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other fields due to its good physical and chemical properties, which can be used as purification decolorant, binder, thixotropic agent, suspending agent, stabilizer, filler, feed, catalyst and so on. Therefore, montmorillonite is a natural mineral material with a wide range of uses.After fine mineral processing, centrifugation and sieve filtration, the product is dried and ground by adding certain chemical additives. The appearance is white or sub white powder. It has excellent expansibility, dispersion, suspension, colloidal, adsorption and cation exchange properties in aqueous media.

What is the bentonite for detergent?

Bentonite for detergent is prepared by modifying bentonite with high montmorillonite content. It is a natural green chemical product, superfine white powder, nontoxic and tasteless, with heavy metal ions less than 30ppm, arsenic and mercury less than 1ppm. Its colloid performance is good and its stability is excellent.

Functions:

1. It has excellent expansibility, colloid dispersity, suspension, thickening and thixotropy in water, strong dispersing and emulsifying ability for grease, and smooth and delicate hand feeling.

2. It is an ideal raw material for preparing main decontamination components of washing products with excellent performance, especially heavy oil stain detergents.

3. It has strong detergency to oil stains, and can reduce the dosage of surfactant and other additives, improve the stability and quality of products, and reduce production costs.

4. Good compatibility adaptability, good compatibility with anionic, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants, stable use in weakly acidic to weakly alkaline media, suitable for various types of washing products.

Shelf life: 3 years

Method of storage:

 The products are packed in double layers, with inner polyethylene film bags, each bag weighing 25kg net or according to the weight specified by the user. The products shall be stored in moisture-proof and dry warehouse to prevent package damage. Place in a ventilated and dry place to avoid direct sunlight.

Suggestion:

It is suggested that bentonite powder should be added to the ingredients in the proportion of 20-25% of heavy oil stain detergent, 10-15% of paste laundry detergent and 5-10% of washing powder.
