The specimen collection swab is composed of stick and tip, adapted to nasopharynx, oralcavity, Forensic Acquisition System and DNA collecting etc. The Swab obtained CE0197 and ISO13485 Certificate.
Swab types:
Type A: PS stick with Rayon tip
Type B: Oropharyngeal swab with flocked tip
Type C: Nasopharyngeal swab with flocked tip
Type D: Swab with foam tip
Transport swab:
Used for the specimen collection of oral cavity, respiratory tract, urethra, cervix, vagina. It's convenient for transportation,
while avoiding pollution.The transport swab is composed with a swab, a transport tube with or without medium.
1. Transport swab without medium:
Sampling swabs can be customized with swab stick of different materials (PP, PS, ABS, wooden or stainless steel stick) + swab tip of different materials (absorbent cotton, rayon ,flocked or polyester fiber)
2. Transport swab with meium
It is mainly used for the transport and preservation of clinical samples. The medium types as below:
-Amies medium and Amies w/charcoal medium: mainly used for the preservation of samples during the transport process after E.colisampling.
-Stuart medium and Stuart w/charcoal medium: mainly used for sample preservation during transportation after sampling Neisseriagonorrhoeae.
-Cary Blair medium and Cary Blair w/charcoal: mainly used for sample preservation during transportation after sampling
Campylobacter jejuni, Vibrio cholerae, Salmonella, Vibrio parahaemolyticus and Shigella flexneri
