Optical Brightener CBS-X(CAS#27344-41-8) is mainly used in detergent industry and soap industry, is commonly added during producting proces. These additives are often used to enhance the appearance of color of fabric , causing a "whitening" effect, making fabric look less yellow by increasing the overall amount of blue light reflected, and resulting in their strongly fluorescent appearance under UV illumination.
Optical Brightener CBS-X(CAS#27344-41-8) can also directly used in cotton, fibre, wool, spandex and paper to make them more whitening.
