2.We have a camp that we hunt from , will it heat the water if it's like 20 degrees out side ?

If it is sunny, then yes it will heat water although how you go about doing so will make a big difference. First, place something to insulate the bag from the frozen ground, then place the bag on that. Choose a place that protects the bag from the wind. 3.Does this filter water?

No. you just fill it with water and the sun heats it up, so you have hot water for showering.

4.With it filled, how long is the bag from handle to the hose connection? Trying to figure out how much higher I need to put hook over my head?

you would need the bag above your head. the handle has a spicket on it. you would want the whole bag above your head so that the water drains out spicket though or it wont work very well. I used this with a shower tent and it worked great and had the hook and held it up already.
