Phosphate glass doped with Er3+ and Yb3+ has wider wavelength tuning, lower RIN and narrower laser


line width, higher conversion efficiency and a very wide pumping band, it is an ideal material for making optical waveguide amplifiers and lasers.


Laser output at 1535nm can be realized in it.
