1. The high temperature resistant, quartz glass hardening temperature about 1730 ℃, can be used for a long time under 1100 ℃, the highest temperature can reach 1450 ℃.

2. Corrosion resistance: with the exception of hydrofluoric acid, quartz glass simply does not have chemical reactions with other acids. Its acid resistance is 30 times that of ceramics and 150 times that of stainless steel.

3. Good thermal stability: the thermal contraction coefficient of quartz glass, can suffer severe temperature changes, the quartz glass heated to 1100 ℃ or so, will not burst into cold water.

4. Good light transmission performance: quartz glass has good light transmission performance in all spectral bands from purple to red, with the visible light transmittance above 93%, especially in the ultraviolet spectrum region, with the maximum transmittance above 80%.
