Soldering Iron/Reduced Fe Powder

The common method of reducing iron powder is to use a solid or gas reducing agent (coke, charcoal, anthracite, water gas, natural gas, ammonia, hydrogen, etc.) to reduce iron oxides (iron concentrate, rolled steel scales, etc.) to make sponge-like iron.

During the reduction process, it is divided into (solid carbon reduction) primary reduction and secondary reduction. One reduction is solid carbon reduction to prepare sponge iron. The main process of one reduction is: (iron concentrate, rolling steel scale, etc.) → drying → magnetic separation →Crushing→Sieving→Packing→Entering a reduction furnace→Sponge iron.

Secondary fine reduction process: sponge iron→clearing→crushing→magnetic separation→secondary reduction furnace→powder→disintegration→magnetic separation→screening→grading→mixing→packaging→finished product.

The high-quality iron powder produced by the reduction method meets the standard, Fe≥98%, carbon≤0.01%, phosphorus and sulfur are less than 0.03%, and hydrogen loss is 0.1~0.2%.

The main uses of reduced iron powder are: powdered metallurgical products reduced iron powder, which consumes 60% to 80% of the total amount of reduced iron powder.
The reduced iron powder for the welding electrode and the addition of 10 to 70% iron powder in the coating can improve the welding process of the welding rod and significantly improve the welding efficiency.
Reduced iron powder for chemical industry, mainly used in chemical catalysts, precious metal reduction, alloy addition, copper replacement, etc.
Cutting stainless steel iron powder, when cutting steel products, spraying iron powder into the oxygen-acetylene flame can improve the cutting performance, expand the range of cutting steel, and increase the cuttable thickness.
