HIBISCUS
- Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa) also be known as carcade (karkade), Jamaican Flower, is a minor cash crop in Sudan considered as a natural herbal product, traditionally consumed as a flavored drink. It has a tart, cranberry-like flavour, and sugar is often added to sweeten it.Hibiscus tea was a beverage of choice for Egyptian pharaohs in ancient Egypt. In fact, many cultures, including those in the Caribbean, Mexico, China, Africa and Europe, cultivated and used hibiscus tea, not just for its flavor but for its medicinal properties.
Types Of Hibiscus:
- The petals that make the flower are separated and sun dried.
- Cleaned and packed in bags making it the best raw hibiscus available.
From Where We Source Our Hibiscus ?
We source our Roselle from different African countries including Sudan, Chad and Nigeria.
What Hibiscuc We Offer?
Our company offers the Roselle as a dry flower (Sun Dried), The flowers are ready and intended for human consumption. We supply the product in three main categories:
- Whole Calyx (the complete part of which the flower is picked off)
- Whole loose flower sepals (Removed flower petals)
- Sifting (Nekhala) (Mixture of complete flowers and petals) to tree bark
Our Packing:
- We pack the Hibiscus in 25/50 kg PP bags and stuff in 20 feet containers.
