Mirse bitter (digestive) liqueur is obtained from the selection of 40 types of aromatic herbs already used in ancient times for medicinal purposes and liqueur production, mixed with an alcoholic infusion of red myrtle berries, with the final addition of sugar syrup.
Colour: medium intensity reddish-brown, amber tinges, with slight variations depending on maturation.
Aroma: intense, characteristic of scented herbs, hints of balsamic essences of eucalyptus, juniper, nuts and spices.
Flavour: original, bitter-sweet, varying, slightly spicy aftertaste, pleasant.
Serving: hints cooled, straight, on the rocks, as an ingredient in punch, in cocktails, poured over ice-cream, as a dessert liqueur.
