This sensational Chianti Riserva DOCG of the Tuscany Banfi winery is made with the Sangiovese grapes. There is the alcoholic fermentation with medium-long fermentation and it follows the aging period of 2 years in Slavonia oak barrels of 60-120 hl. Finally there are 6 months of bottle refinement as the Chianti riserva DOCG method requires.
It has a red mallow color very deep. The smell is intense with a vanilla bouquet, together with licorice and chocolate. The taste is wide, spicy, elegant and structured.
