PWD920C Highway Traffic Management Wireless Prices Visibility Sensor provides measurements related to meteorological visibility. The sensor is based on the principle of aerosol forward scatter and is a new generation of meteorological visibility monitoring equipment developed by Trans missive Detectors.
Feature
Real-time, online, and continuous monitoring of atmospheric visibility;
The digital output interface of the instrument is equipped with RS-232 or RS-485 as standard. The interface can be set at the factory according to users’ requirements.
It can monitor its own DC power supply, internal temperature, ambient light intensity and other signals, and give the working status and alarm;

PWD920C Highway Traffic Management Wireless Prices Visibility Sensor is designed using the internationally recognized forward scatter principle. It has the integration of transmitter and receiver, no baseline requirements, simple installation, low requirement of geographical location, no impact from vibration, and simple maintenance.
The emitter of the visibility meter emits a beam of infrared light having a center wavelength of 0.87 μm into the atmosphere through an infrared light emitting diode, and the receiver combines a certain volume of atmospheric forward scattered light onto the receiving surface of the silicon photoelectric sensor and converts it into the electrical signal which is sent to the acquisition of the controller after processing, and the visibility value is obtained after sampling and calculation by the CPU, and then communicated through the RS232 and the computer.
