Product Description

AiFuXi(FC)   Fiber Cement  Ceramic Tile  Underlay/Tile backer Board

Fibre cement tile backer board products are especially suited as a tiling base for tiling wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and showers as it is resistant to permanent water damage and does not need to be treated before tiling. Because it is water and mould resistant, fibre cement tile backer board is used as an alternative to Plywood and Plasterboard tile substrate .

Its application over internal timber, particleboard and plywood substrates helps to minimise tile movement and potential tile cracking caused by the expansion and contraction of these substrates. To add to this, the key requirement of materials used in wet areas is superior resistance to moisture damage in the event that the material gets wet. Reduced tile adhesion is one of the main problems moisture penetration causes.
