Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens is a gram positive soil bacteria closely related to the species Bacillus subtitles. B. Amyloliquefaciens is capable of producing endospores allowing it to survive for extended periods of time. The species also shows some antifungal properties which are influenced by environmental nitrogen availability.
