They are a very tasty food and rich in nutrients. Used mainly in soups, paired with cereals and pasta.
Like all white beans, the round beans are very nutritious; rich in fiber and vitamins B in particular folic acid; they contain mineral salts such as calcium, potassium, iron and phosphorus.
Rich in lecithin a phospholipid that helps the emulsion of fats avoiding the accumulation in the blood, useful for the reduction of "bad" cholesterol.
