Sacha Inchi Seeds, known for their high level of plant-based omega-3s, are commonly referred to as a superfood, due to them being a complete protein, containing every amino acid your body requires. Also known by the botanical name Plukenetia volubilis, this diminutive, tanned seed stems from a perennial plant that has small trichomes on its leaves and is recognized as part of the Euphorbiaceae family. The organic seeds are roasted at 150-155°C for 1.8-2.0 hours, transforming the seed to have a more nut-like appearance. There are no additives or processing aids used in the process.
