Description





LENO electrical heating tank is a device used to heat and store water or other fluids for various purposes, such as domestic hot water supply, industrial processes, or space heating. The working process of an electrical heating tank typically involves the following steps:
1.Water Inlet: Cold water or the fluid to be heated is introduced into the tank through an inlet valve. The inlet is usually
located near the bottom of the tank to ensure that the entire volume of the tank can be filled.
2.Electric Heating Element: Inside the tank, there are one or more electric heating elements, usually made of a resistant
material like copper, stainless steel, or Incoloy. These heating elements are responsible for raising the temperature of the
water.
3.Thermostat Control: The electrical heating tank is equipped with a thermostat, which monitors the temperature of the water inside the tank. When the temperature drops below the set point, the thermostat signals the heating elements to turn on.
4.Heating Process: When the thermostat detects that the water temperature is below the desired level, it allows electrical
current to flow through the heating elements. As a result, the elements heat up, transferring their heat to the surrounding
water.
5.Temperature Regulation: As the water heats up, the thermostat continuously monitors the temperature. Once the desired temperature is reached, the thermostat cuts off the electrical supply to the heating elements, preventing overheating.
6.Hot Water Outlet: When the water reaches the desired temperature, it is ready for use. The hot water can be drawn from the tank through a hot water outlet located near the top of the tank.
7.Insulation: Electrical heating tanks are typically well-insulated to minimize heat loss. This insulation helps keep the water
hot for an extended period, reducing the frequency of heating cycles and improving energy efficiency.
8.Safety Features: Modern electrical heating tanks often include safety features, such as a pressure relief valve to prevent
excessive pressure build-up, a temperature and pressure relief valve to protect against overheating, and sometimes a drain
valve for maintenance and emergencies.
The cycle repeats as the hot water is used and replaced by cold water through the inlet. The heating elements will continue to turn on and off as needed to maintain the set temperature, ensuring a steady supply of hot water for various applications.
