Air pollution is a major cause of human deaths. According to World Health Organisation, 3 billion people on the planet, most of them women and children are still breathing deadly smoke every day from using polluting cooking stoves and fuels in their homes. A large section of this population still does not have access to clean cooking fuels and technologies, the main source of air pollution.

Mowehi Engineers India has designed a highly efficient and clean charcoal based cook stove. The cook stove cooks food using less charcoal and produces less toxic smoke than the conventional charcoal based cook stoves. The combustion chamber and the top cover of the stove are made up of high quality cast iron providing strength, durability and high performance to the stove. The ceramic insulation between the combustion chamber and the outer body maintains lower temperatures on the outer surface.

The cook stove has a high rate of combustion leading to faster cooking. The appliance comes with a regulator that controls the flame in the stove. The stove on full load is capable of boiling litre of water within 8 minutes. The appliance can be used to cook food for a family of 8 to 10 people.


Working
Load the combustion chamber with charcoal. Open the door of the ash chamber and insert pieces of paper and ignite. The charcoal in the chamber will start burning. Keep the cooking utensil on the cast iron top and cook. Regulate the flame using the regulator provided on the ash chamber door. Opening the air vents increase the flame .conversely closing the sir vents slows down the flame. After cooking, close the air vents . Please take care not to pour water into the hot combustion chamber. Also ensure that the stove is kept in a well-ventilated space during cooking.
