Dextrin is a carbohydrare that is a water-solube polysaccharide formed by the hydrolysis of starch ,itself a carbohydrarte .We cleave or break the very long chain called starch via hydrolysis ,we get a bunch of shorter but still pretty long chains ,that is dextrins .Yellow dextrin ,which is also called canary dextrins ,it is easy mixed with water than original starch .DM-yellow tapioca dextrin is artificially produced from high quality tapioca starch using acid ,which can be used for food and industrial .
Applications
1.Crispness enhancer in coatings and glazes
2.Foam stabilizer in beer
3.Thickener in creams, baked goods, puddings, soup mixes, etc.
4.Fat or sugar replacer in low-calorie foods
5.Binder in coated pills, carrier in multivitamin tablets
6.pharmaceutical grade ,used for plant extracts as filler colorant etc .
