All Caremed general surgery scissors are produced using premium quality Japanese J2 (AISI 420) stainless steel and are available in ring handle design with a variety of blade configurations. Selected scissors are also available with tungsten carbide inserts. All scissors are crafted with extreme precision right down to the tip of cutting edges while blades are hardened to correct hardness to ensure long life in service. Joint is strong and carefully machined to provide correct tension between the blades. Shanks are designed for feeling and balance while smooth finger rings provide comfort during use..
