Why have you discontinued the 1.2kg pack for S-26 Gold Progress / Gold Promise? Now I have to pay more for a bigger box.

Due to popular demand for larger pack sizes we have decided to introduce a 2.4kg pack in place of 1.2kg. The 2.4 kg pack offers better value /kg. However for a lower price point consumers can choose S26 GOLD PROGRESS and S 26 GOLD PROMISE 600g Pouch in Box.

Since you have a new ingredient called αlipids™, is your current GOLD range of products still suitable for vegetarians?

αlipids™ is a unique complex ingredient made using a patented process retaining higher levels of sphingomyelin and phospholipids. The source of this unique ingredient is from Whey Protein, which was derived from cow's milk. If cow's milk is acceptable as your dietary intake, you are able to consume this product.

Note to call center officers : This really depends on dietary preference of the vegetarians as long as they can consume milk then this is ok.

What is the difference between αlipids™, in S26 GOLD PROGRESS and S 26 GOLD PROMISE and MFGM in other formulas?

MFGM is an ingredient, added to some milk formulas that contains protein, phospholipids, triglycerides and lactose.
αlipids™, is a unique complex ingredient produced using a patented process where whey protein is precisely treated to retain higher levels of phospholipids and α-lactalbumin. This ingredient contains protein, phospholipids and trace amounts of lactose, vitamins and minerals. The addition of αlipids™, to milk formula results in a preferred Sphingomyelin levels.

I purchased a 900g tin of the new S-26 Gold Progress, the anti-theft strip is still intact but the plastic shrink wrap is missing when I received it. The aluminum foil seems sealed. Is the product still safe for consumption?

The plastic shrink wrap binding the blue top cap is part of the product's anti-tampering measure. If consumers find products without the shrink-wrap, please contact the retailer where they purchased the product or call us for a replacement.

Since αlipids™ are from whey protein and all S-26 products sold in Malaysia are made in the same factory in Singapore, has the formulation of S-26 PE Gold been also upgraded to contain αlipids™ / sphingomyelin / phospholipids?

Currently there is no change to the existing formulation of S-26 PE Gold. The current formulation of S-26 PE GOLD does not contain αlipids™ / sphingomyelin / phospholipids. PE Gold is designed to help children who are picky eaters. The PE Gold formulation is designed to help complete their nutrition.

Apart from the addition of αlipids™ and increase in Oligofructose levels there does not seem to be any major increase in the contents of other nutrients present in the formula. Despite the minimal increase in nutrient content, why is the pricing of this product so much more expensive compared to the previous formulation? Are you overcharging the consumer?

There are cost involved in the unique process of retaining higher levels of Sphingomyelin and Phospholipids. The company has invested a lot of resources to bring this unique formula to consumers. Therefore this comes with a price increase in the new range of S-26 Gold Progress & S-26 Gold Promise.
