Rubber Protection Wax is blended of microcrystalline wax and paraffin wax as well as other additives , offering protection against ozone attack and any type of weather influences , to extend the rubber products working life . Unprotexted elastomers will absorb ozone and form ozonides by the attack of double bonds on the surface layer . Under tension the absorption becomes continuously , which caused surface craks, and when the strain exceeds a critical value crack grow contimously at a constant rate . The rate of crack growth is proportional to the ozone concentration . It will have best performance if working with chemical anti-oxidant .
