As their name implies, Brushless DC Motors controls the speed and torque via a closed loop controller instead of the mechanical brushes and commutator.
A typical brushless motor has permanent magnets which rotate around a fixed armature, eliminating problems associated with connecting current to the moving armature.
The advantages of a Brushless EC Motor over brushed motors are :
