Overview

Lamella clarifier (also called inclined plate clarifier)  optimizes and improves the structure including inlet area, sedimentation area, sludge collecting area, water outlet area. This will improve the overall efficiency by more than 100%. The working principle is as followed: 

The wastewater enters the pond body from the intake pipe, flows forward and downward in the intake corridor located in the middle of the pond body, reflects by the guide plate, and then enters the inclined plate through the water distribution outlets on both sides.

As the solution flows upward, the solid particles are deposited on the parallel inclined plate assembly, then slide into the sludge bucket at the bottom of the tank. In the sludge bucket, the sludge is concentrated and discharged through the sludge outlet. The clarifying liquid rises along the inclined plate, flows into the catchment channel through the top outlet channel hole, and then collects into the outlet tank through the adjustable outlet weir, which is discharged by the outlet pipe.

Lamella Clarifiers are highly efficient in removing heavy metals, ink and other contaminants from wastewater. Our clarifiers feature integrated rapid mix tank and floc tank, eliminating the need to buy these tanks separately and providing a much simpler installation process. Our design ensures precise mixing so chemical coagulants can  be used effectively and efficiently. Low shear mixers on the floc tanks help mix the coagulants without breaking the floc.
