Etna Wine Tasting - Half Day Excursion

Pick-up at hotel. The wine in Sicily is a tradition that has been handed down for centuries, since the Phoenicians brought this "drink" in the Mediterranean and consequently into the island. Sicily is the Italian region with the highest wine heritage of Italy, and talking about wine in Sicily means speaking about Etna. The Sicilian volcano has given and continues to give some of the best wines produced on the island. Delicious choices of historic red wines, accompanied by some fine and fresh white wines, and with increasingly popular bubbles, thanks to some specialized Cellars. Truly a moment of great development and reputation for wines of the volcano. The excursion includes a transfer to one of the most famous wineries on the Etna with a visit to the factory, tasting of products, purchase possibilities. Back to the hotel.

Partecipation Fee
The price includes:
- Pick-up and drop-off from your hotel.
- Private transportation with driver/tour leader: Auto (1 to 3 pax); Minivan (4 to 7 pax); Minibus (8 to 19 pax); Bus (20 to 50 pax).
- Wine tasting.

The price does not include:
- Meals, beverages and extras.
- Entrance fees to the archaeological sites, monuments, churches and museums.
- Local Tourist Guide to be paid locally (included for groups from 20 pax).

Important note:
The driver / tour leader, according to Italian law, is not a licensed guide, so he cannot accompany participants during the visit of the monuments; however he will provide essential information of the visited places (purchase of tickets, schedules opening and directions).

Only Tour Guides are the only professionals equipped with regional license, and can lead visitors inside all sites and Sicilian museums.
