Kantha quilt
This Vintage Kantha (Throw) quilt is made of 100% cotton fabrics. It has three layers of recycled sarees stitched together with thousand of small & delicate fine running kantha stitch hand crafted softly quilted handmade by artisans in india.
The kantha is a simple running stitch.It is an old age tradition in rural india to recycle used old sari for making quilts / Throw. This quilts/throw 100% organic & eco friendly.
It has different beautiful warm and charming colours designs and patterns an either side which give a distinct look & this can be used both side (Reversible)
It can be used in a variety of ways as quilt, blanket, bed throw, table cover, curtains, wall hanging, tapestry, rug for picnics/beaches and carpet.
Due to Kantha stitches it gives enough strength and durability for washing by hands and also it can be cold washed through washing machine.
As these are vintage items they may have some loose threads, open ends, small spots/stain and small patches (Patches from other colourful sarees), which is very rare since each item is handpicked and washed well beforeshipping. Also these imperfections make vintage art pieces more unique.
These things are not being considered as defects, as item is made of vintageMaterial, but there won't be any compromise in quality. However, we think youare more likely to be amazed by how perfect a handmade product can be and time taken to make this quilt.
