A Cannula Fixater is used in surgery. It is a thin tube inserted into the body to administer medication, drain off fluid, or introduce a surgical instrument. As patients are very often restless, it is important to be able to fix the cannula in the region of insertion till the procedure is completed. A cannula fixation device is an essential accessory in such cases. Our cannula fixation is a sterile adhesive dressing with a pad at the point of injection for the reliable cannula fixation. The pad is made from a soft and very absorbent viscose fiber laminated with perforated polyethylene film which prevents the pad from adhering at the point of injection.
